Javier Mascherano, who claimed the Club World Cup twice with Barcelona in 2012 and 2016, captains Inter Miami in their inaugural tournament appearance following their 2024 MLS Supporters’ Shield victory.
They’ll be seeking inspiration from talisman Lionel Messi, the legendary Argentinian who scored five goals in as many Club World Cup games throughout his career, including three in finals.
